Never been up there, sadly, but it's on my bucket list of places I want to visit. I only really know it for it being the northernmost city in Alaska, and also because a friend who taught me how to pronounce the name correctly. He wasn't from there though, he was from Unalakleet.

That reminds me, I want to visit this place that's at the midway point between the road from Fairbanks to Anchorage. It's called Igloo City, and like the name suggests it's an igloo-shaped building that was intended to be a hotel before the project was abandoned. There's a ton of graffiti all over it from people who've stopped by. I'm thinking of doing the same if I ever go there. Maybe I'll even slap an EPIC WIN sticker on there and take a picture. Been meaning to use it up somehow. (´ー`)

I would like to try Japanese cigarettes though. I don't know if it's true, but someone told me that Japanese cigarettes have a lighter and more pleasant aroma than Western cigarettes.

Oh, I've used this site in the past, importing into the UK. For customs, they label them as "air filters". I've done four purchases with them, got caught out for tax only once, although they only charged me £16.

That said, I've not used them since 2020 as society demanded I quit smoking. My go to was the Mevius Menthol Red, but it seems like they've discontinued those! (ﾟ血ﾟ#)

I always smoked menthols because they are yum. Honestly, they are probably the same as in the west, but they are available there, but not here. The initial puffs always have the strongest of the flavouring. Externally, you'll still smell the same. There are more options for getting far stronger and heavier tasting cigarettes in Japan, hell, Asia and the third world generally. Japan will maintain a decent standard for them at least.

As for making the order, go for the minimum limit for the first order, which is two cartons (I think). You can then verify if anything has changed from what I've said and see how your customs may act, while also cutting any potential losses.

Another thing I miss from Japan? Smoking rooms inside hotels, bars, cafes, etc. Glorious.
