A person did something awful to me recently but I managed to put my emotions under control by using a healthy coping strategy called sublimation, I wrote a somewhat long poem expressing my rage and sadness and now I feel much better and ready to just solve the problem like an adult

I completely agree, but don't think this one has much to do with the "personal" part of your message. Noone would have a reason to make such a deal of it if they were simply OC characters doing fun things, as there is no obligation to draw some character from existing series. That's why I think "personal doodlepads" is a fitting word in this case

I don't think so - the only doodle lately that's even close to being on par with the crap that caused this thread to be made is pic related, and it's just one pic rather than multiple pages of pics made in relatively quick succession

I've got a small one that was growing in my garden. I set it up a few days ago

Every single year, december 1st i bring out a small (fake) christmas tree from the basement and put it up on my desk. Nothing special but still a fun tradition for me.
It has lights, so december is the only time of the year when i don't lurk in total darkness
